Yeast treatment itchy?
I’m pretty sure i have a yeast infection, i’ve never expereinced such itching, tenderness, and soreness as i have the last couple days, it is just unbearable. There is thick white clumpy discharge with no odor and extreme irritation. I’ve had bv before and i know its not that, so im sure its a YI. I used the tioconazole-1 tonight before laying down and within a few minutes of insertion, the burning and irritation doubled in intenseness!! Is this from the meds working?? It’s calmed down a little now tho..

I am having a problem done their myself But unfortunately I cant go to the doctor But you definitely have a yeast infection The best thing you can do is try to get this stuff coming out in a dixie cup and go to the doctor immeditatly or the yeast will progress. Dixie cup or not the best thing you can do is go to the doctor so you can get the medicine you cant get it over the counter. as for the medication its a possibility I am not a female so I don’t know but still *why take chances* right?
yeah, when the medication begins to work, it begins to itch and burn. Just a head’s up, if the cream doesn’t work, tyr boric acid. It’s working for me.
Yes it sounds like you have a YI. If OTC YI medicine does not work, go to your doc. You could have a severeYI or it could be something else like an STD. Feel better!
SOme people do have a reaction to the treatment, but I dont think that means it isnt a yeast infection. I would visit the doctor, you might need to treat it in a different way. SUch as through one of the tablet forms rather than a cream.
Yes. The symptoms can flare up as the infection is healing.
Yeast Infections affect nearly 75% of all people, including both men AND women, at some point in their life.
They occur when Candida, a natural fungus in the body, overgrows. Candida is normally regulated by Acidophilus (another microoganism living in the body).
When diet and hygienic conditions change, sometimes the Candida will grow out of control. This leads to a yeast infection.
Yeast Infections often show up as localized yeast infections — as in a vaginal or penile yeast infection.
They can also appear as a digestive tract disorder or skin irritation — as in Candida Overgrowth yeast infections. I’ve provided information on how to treat LOCALIZED (vaginal or penile) infections below…
The symptoms (you may not experience all of them):
- white cottage cheese-like discharge
- some odor
- dryness (can cause bleeding)
- digestive problems
- itchiness
- burning urination
- painful intercourse
- a feeling of just not being "normal"
Here are some safe, natural cures you can implement.
Avoid Sugars
Avoid sugars and complex carbs for a week. they "feed" the Candida fungus.
Clothing
If you’re not treating the infection with the Tree Tea Oil solution mentioned below, air out the infected area while you’re sleeping at night. Don’t wear underwear. Or wear cotton underwear during the day.
Grapefruit Seed Extract
Add grapefruit extract to your water during the day (raises acid levels in the body). This will decrease the candida in your body.
Probiotics
Eat probiotics like cottage cheese and yogurt. They will increase the acidophilus in your system and this in turn will fight off the candida yeast.
Hygiene
Shower frequently. Avoid scented soaps and antibacterial soaps. Don’t take baths while you have the infection. If you go to the gym, shower immediately when you get home. Don’t wear wet bathing suits for extended periods of time.
Diet
Drink lots of water and eat plenty of fiber to flush the infection out of your body. As a yeast infection goes away, the candida albicans release toxins which increase symptoms temporarily. Flushing these toxins out with water will speed your recovery.
Tea Tree Oil
Apply tea tree oil to the infection by applying it to a tampon and keep it inserted overnight. You can also just apply the Tea Tree Oil directly to the irritated area.
