Yeast infections?
I had sex with my boyfriend last night and noticed some mild burning…this morning I woke up and it was worse with some mild itching. It seems like a yeast infection. My question is can he contract it from me just having sex that one time. We don’t use condoms, i’m on Mirena and we’re both 100% faithful. Since we just had it that one time and symptoms weren’t full blown what are the likelihoods of him catching it? Can men even catch it?

Yes, men can get yeast infections.
You may not have a yeast infection. You may have something else called Bacterial Vaginitis. Needs antibiotics and yes he can carry it. It could be other things too because men can be pigs.
yeast takes more time than that to infect the vagina ,,you had it before.. the semen awoke it,.. or you have been infected with something worst
yes its possible. however he wont show symptoms of it. but it is possible that after you treat yourself he could give it back to you again..
Men can get yeast infections. It’s best to get checked out instead of diagnosing yourself. Your gynecologist can do a simple swab in the office and tell you on the spot if it’s a yeast infection. If not then you can have a pap smear right then and there to see if you need medication. Burning can be a sign of a lot of things like a UTI and chlamydia- which men can unknowingly have. Also, if you don’t have a white-ish discharge I would suspect a different problem. Good luck, hope you’re okay!
