i was a vitamin specialist for four years. the best thing for a yeart infection is acidophilous, it’s very cheap around 7.99 for 100 pills, you take one a day, the most important thing is keep the bills in the fridge they contain live cultures. the stuff works great. but as always go to a gyno, if you have insurace to go, get fluczonaze, one pink pill in 24 hrs it’s gone. good luck!
maybe it’s not a yeast infection. have it checked out by a dr. sometimes you have to use a 7 day treatment and take oral meds
If yeast infection symptoms last longer than seven days, you should see a doctor.
"If you do not feel some relief within 3 days, or complete relief within 7 days, stop using the product and consult your doctor." -Monistat 1 webpage
good luck
Go see your doc.
You may want to try the 3 day cream. Was the ticonazale the one day pill? If not ask your doctor to prescribe that. You can use the cream or suppository even if you took the pill.
Natural remedy is plain yogurt (have to get from a health food store), use the applicator from the Monistat.
Hang in there, it’s uncomfortable and gross, but will go away soon enough.
If the discharge gets smelly, it’s not a yeast infection.
The one-day Monistat treatment often doesn’t work. You can either try the 7-day treatment, or (what I would do)–call your doctor and get the one-day oral treatment Diflucan. That seems to work almost all of the time.
You should see the doctor!
