Hello,
Unfortunately, this is not a yeast infection. As a nurse I can tell you that a yellowish green discharge is a symptom of another type of infection. It could be bacterial vaginosis, a very common infection and simple to cure with antibiotics. Or it could be an STD such as Gonorrhea or Chlamydia. Both easy to treat with antibiotics, but can cause long term complications if not treated. Please refrain from any sexual activity and see a gynocologist or a free clinic right away. All it takes is a simple test and it does not hurt. They can be found in the phone book.
Please dont hesitate to contact me if you have other questions.
Good Luck,
Angie R.N.
That sounds like a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. You need to have it diagnosed by a gyn. After it has been diagnosed for the first time, you can recognize the symptoms the next time and begin to use the otc medication. If it is bacterial, then you need to be prescribed antibiotics.
sounds like you need to cleanse really well, maybe douche and get some vagisil.. call the gyn and get checked for possible STD.
Yellowish green discharge is not a yeast infection but it is an infection of some kind. See your doc ASAP and get it diagnosed and treated.
