Why do surgeons have to insert a camera through a man's urethra to treat a male heart attack victim?
Is there a less invasive procedure to accomplish the desired results?

This is not a procedure I have ever heard of. Firstly, the urethra does not connect to the heart. What is often done, is a camera is inserted through the femoral artery, which can then be threaded through to the inside of the heart so the surgeon can see exactly what is happening, what damage has been done, and where, and decide on the best treatment from there.
BTW, this is not an invasive procedure. It is quite benign.
I’ve never heard of them going thru the urethra to go to the heart as the kidney system and heart systems don’t have a common linkage.
However, to get to the heart for some procedures they will go thru an artery in the groin (femoral artery or vein) to get up to the heart thru the circulatory system.
You should clarify with the person who told you that you need to go thru the urethra to the heart as I don’t believe that is done.
heart attack and this procedure has no connections, probably they might have done a cystoscopy (either diagnostic or for management of some obstructions)
