What’s the fastest way to cure a yeast infection?

I believe i have a yeast infection. For the last 2 days my vaginal area has been itching like crazy, and i have been trying my hardest not to itch it. And as usual, when i itch it it gets worse. There’s a thick white discharge and a slight smell. What is the quickest and easiest way to get rid of this?

first off, do not wear tight pants…ever. wear breathable undies, and eat lots and lots of yougurt b/c the bacteria within it keeps yeast infections away…this is how you prevent them in the future.
you really should see a physician b/c there are other conditions with the same symptoms as a yeast infection. but if you refuse to go, then go to the drugstore and pick up a box of canesten, a vaginal suppository and itch cream combo.
however, this is only supposed to be used by those who have experienced a yeast infection before.
