But, recurrent UTI means get a Urologist to check you out to find out why. If you have a resistant bug then you need a sample sent to the lab to find out which antibiotic it is sensitive to. The refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup in cranberry cocktail is a bad idea, especially when you have some sort of infection. (if someone out there who reads this has a bladder infection and just HAS to have their sweet treat, then at least get the kind that is sweetened with other fruit juices) You want to drink a lot of water. On top of that, cleaning up your diet in general is a good idea. There are probably herbs that help... I'll look online and edit this in a sec. Echinacea/goldenseal might be one. I bet a B complex or a multivitamin is smart. Make sure you know what acid/alkaline diets are! I wouldn't eat red meat. Garlic has antibiotic properties. I use Kyolic brand garlic capsules when I take garlic.
