What foods & beverges to avoid getting a bladder infection?
Just wondering if sitting too long, or eating loads of yeast,sugar and sodium causes bladder infections in Women ? What foods do you avoid ? What is the best prevention?

ive had many bladder infections. i know that holding it in when you have to go too much can cause it. i used to work a job where it was impossible for me to take bathroom breaks and thats how i got my infections. also, for women, sex can cause them. drink cranberry juice. that can prevent the infections and if you already have one, the juice can help you get better faster. feel better!

drinking lots of water and cranberry juice will help to prevent a bladder infection. I’m not 100% sure how you get one though.

I know that drinking dark sodas, such as coke will cause a bladder infection, and also, if you hold your urine for too long, it can cause that, or a urinary tract infection, which are almost the same thing. Try drinking water, or cranberry juice. It usually helps. Make sure to urinate when you need to and not hold it. It will hurt worse, and cause the infection.

to maintain bladder health one must drink plenty of clear fluids. cranberry juice has long been reputed to ward off bladder infections. be scrupulous with your hygiene.
Yeast infections are not caused by foods. The best prevention is not wearing constricting clothing, cotton underwear, wipe from front to back, drink cranberry juice to increase the acid of the urine (used only as prevention, NOT A CURE) and Don’t have unprotected sex is the number 1 reason yeast infections are formed!
Acidic foods are the best medicine. If you have an active infection drink 4 ounces of white vinegar 2 or 3 times a day. It’s nasty, but it works. Coke (the soft drink) has the same acidic value as vinegar, but it also has tons of sugar! You can also drink cranberry juice. Not cranberry cocktail that you see in supermarkets, this vile fluid must be purchased at a health food store. Real cranberry juice not only costs a fortune, it tastes worse than the vinegar! GGAAAKKKK!!!!
Drinking cranberry juice is great for urinary tract health. It increases the acidity of the urine and makes it harder for bacteria to grow. Of course drinking lots of water is great for not only urinary heath it improves the condition of your skin and hair and makes you look and feel great.
