vaginal/oral yeast infection?
i went to the doctors got a swab and i found out i had BV i finished all the antibiotics a few days ago but i am still getting lots of discharge although the smell and quantity has gone down its still there also today i noticed my whole tongue was covered in a creamy thick layer of stuff i tried scrapping it off some has come of but most wont.
do i have a yeast infection?
if so why did the doctors get it wrong?

Oral thrush is right. You probably have a yeast infection as well. Return to your physician’s office and request a prescription for Diflucan or something similar.
A yeast infection is when you having itching down below, it may also be red and sore, and smell. So if you have all those then you have a yeast infection. And what do you mean about your tounge? add details :)xx
Hon, the infection on your tongue is oral thrush. This can actually be caused by taking antibiotics but it is treated by another set of medications (a nasty cycle, I know but this is usually how it works). Call your doctor ASAP because this will need to be treated right away and he may need to give you vaginal suppositories for your internal yeast infection. Sorry you are going through this, but it does happen to some people. Btw…this side effect should have been listed on the patient monograph that came with your antibiotics. Good luck!
Edit: You may also want to look into your diet. If you are eating things with a lot of sugar you may want to refine your diet b/c that can contribute to recurrent yeast infections.
