Vaginal smell-not yeast infection?
I’m asking this for my sister that doesn’t have internet access right now so I don’t have a lot of details but she said it’s been smelling bad for about a month & it doesn’t really itch & discharge is normal. She said she can’t describe the smell it’s just weird but not like a fishy smell. She used a monistat thing for yeast infections she said you shoot in there but it didn’t help. I don’t think it sounds like a yeast infection anyways since she’s not itching. Anyone no what else can cause smells. She doesn’t have any STD’s the last time she was checked which was when she was preggo a little over a year ago.
Yes, my sister. I just had my daughter 2 weeks ago, if I were having this problem I would call my Dr but my sister is too stubborn.

She could have vaginosis. It’s a bacteria that creates itself in the upper canal.
Go to the doctor, get a pap and ask her about it. She’ll prescribe medication.
All people have their own unique musky scent and it will smell stronger to you than to others. If it’s foul smelling, it could be a bacterial infection and she needs to see a doctor.
