It is the same UTI. It never goes away on its own. She NEEDS to see a doctor ASAP! Blood usually means it is heading to the kidneys which means she can now end up in the hospital on IV antibiotics.
Blood in the urine is never a good thing. Did she go to the doctor for the first one? If she didn’t then she didn’t get it treated properly and maybe something else is screwed up. The blood could be coming from any part of the urinary tract from the kidney to the opening, and where the blood is coming from does make a difference. Have her go to the doctor to get it treated before anything gets more out of hand.
If she is bleeding and it is painful, these are both signs that she should be referred to a doctor.
Infections don’t just go away on their own, its only going to get worse the longer she waits, she really needs to see a doctor.
yes definatley go to the doctor i just had to take my daughter for the same thing! she had a bladder infection!! one way to prevent this is to keep urself clean and dont wear too tight of clothes! but she really does need antibiotics for this so go to doctor!!
My own doctor has told me that for some women urinary tract infections reoccur seemingly for no reason. Since she is peeing blood my guess would be the best thing for her to do would be to see a doctor asap. As someone who very unfortunately has been exposed to the torture of repeat UTI’s the best advice I can give would be to tell her to drink tons and tons of water, which I know seems like the absolute last thing one would want to do when it hurts so bad to use the bathroom, but it is the only way I’ve found to prevent them from reoccuring.
She has to go get some medicine it will not clear all on its own. She is peeing blood because it has got that bad. You can also run fever and feel run down. Drink lots of water and cranberry juice. Please have her see a doctor. Take all of the medicine that is perscribed.
Yes she needs a doc and give a urine sample. I have a terrible history of UTI’s and they suck. Mine get very bad like that with no notice and that means it is getting into your kidneys and if not treated with medicine it can cause kidney failure which happened to a friend of mine.
