Yes, there seems to be some relationship between candida (yeast) infections and infertility. But that relationship is really not clear. Plenty of women get pregnant while infected with candida. There are tons of Web sites out there that blame a lot of infertility on candida, but in my opinion they are over-stating the problems,
Obviously, the two things you need to do are to get rid of your infection and keep from getting reinfected. Your partner is probably infected as well, so the two of you need to get treated at the same time, or you will will keep passing it back and forth. You will never get rid of it altogether unless you both get treated simultaneously. That probably means you both have to take prescription medicine. After that, some natural remedies can help keep the candida from coming back. Something as simple as eating a lot of yogurt can promote the natural, healthy bacteria in your vagina, That makes it more difficult for the yeast to grow, because they are driven out by the bacteria.
But first things first: both of you need to get treated.
