before i got my period like a few days before i had spotting but i dont know for sure if you will get it..i did have spotting before taht though and i thought i was gunna get it..but i didnt..just wait it out..and be prepared have a tamp or pad with you for a few weeks and stick a few in your back pack!

well, it depends- how old r u, for one???
are you on any kind pills? i know that mine are only like half a day due to my bc. the hormones in the different types of pills vary and can sometimes cause you to not have a period at all.
um….the start of it. Sometimes it doesn’t fully come untill a few hours later or the next day. Hope I could help! -isa B-)

It sounds like your period is about to start. I noticed that whenever my periods would start I would have some light specks too. Pls also address your concern with your mom.
