Oral Candidiasis? Strep?
This morning I woke up with a slightly sore throat on one side. After a few hours of pain I looked in the mirror and I saw a few small red bumps in the back of my mouth that look like pimples. One has a white head on it. Additionally, the back of my tongue is whitish/yellow. I can’t tell if its more than normal. Also, it feels like the lymph nodes on my neck (only on the side with the sore) are slightly swollen. I have no other symptoms. I just finished a course of antibiotics. Could this be oral candidiasis? Or do you think its strep? Thanks.

Does your tongue hurt? Thrush really hurts; anything acidic is quite painful to eat. Strep hurts when you swallow. If you have Thrush, the doctor can call in a fluconozole pill and it will clear up easily. It costs $4.00 at Walmart.
