There’s an over the counter drug called AZO that I’ve used before. It works, but it changes your urine orange.
Keep drinking a lot of water and cranberry juice, mostly water.
As far as I know, monistat is for yeast infection. AZO is good stuff, but that only takes away the symptoms (like the pain and frequency), but doesn’t take away the infection. It isn’t a cure. Keep drinking fluids, and the cranberry juice is great, but if it doesn’t get better soon, you will have to go to the doctor’s. You don’t want it to spread to your kidneys.
And it may seem to be getting worse because the cranberry juice can cause the pain to get worse at first, but it might actually be helping it. Just hang in there for a bit longer. (Or you can try the cranberry pill, but I’ve never tried that and I’m not sure if it’ll still cause the pain the like juice does, but it’s worth a try).
Good luck. Hope you feel better soon!
There’s like Monistat..but you should go to the doctor as soon as you can afford it to get antibiotics. The infection could lead to a kidney infection if left untreated….Good Luck!
