Unfortunately, the pregnancy hormones make you have more discharge than usual, pretty much until you give birth. I actually used panty liners while I was pregnant–it felt so gross, but the doctor assured me it was normal (as long as there is no odor, which could mean either a yeast infection or some type of fungus). Hope this helps!
Thats normal even when you are not pregnant. As long as it isn’t smelly or itchy, it’s fine.
yes it is normal but make sure you tell your Dr.
Unfortunately you will have this discharge through most of your pregnancy and it’s considered to be completely normal
But if you feel uneasy about it at all ask your doc and they will let you know for sure.

If it is thick and curdy like cottage cheese or itches, it could be a yeast infection which happen much more frequently when you’re pregnant. If it has an odor or is yellow or greenish colored it could be an STD. If it’s similar to your normal discharge before you got pregnant, I wouldn’t worry. There are many hormones fluctuating in your body which can change your discharge. If it does not improve in a day or two, call your doctor. If you think it could be an STD, see your doctor immediately as some STD’s can increase your miscarriage rate.
its very normal while and up to 5 yrs after having a baby, it happened to me, I got scared my son was in kindergarten and i had discharge, I paniced call the doctors, they said its normal even after having my son 5 yrs beforethat, she said its lactating which is normal, just let them know at ur next visit that ur starting to leak. yes it’s normal. it’s called leukorhea. You should practice proper perineal hygiene to prevent infections. use sanitary pads and make sure to change it every 3 to 4 hours.
very normal, nothing to worry about! it will continue to be like that through your first trimester and then lessen in your second. then in your third it is really bad…i had to start wearing pantyliners….just a side effect of your hormones doing their thing!
oh i asked the same question a few weeks earlier..Its very normal..welcome to the world of pregnancy. Hwever check for any abnormal discharge like brown or tainted blood.
I’m 6 weeks pregnant. I experienced the same situation everyday. White discharge. My doc told me it’s normal during pregnancy. So no worries. Congrats~
A milky white discharge is just your body’s way of saying, "Hello, I’m changing!" Just chalk it up to all the weird things your body is going to do.
You just may as well get used to going through all kinds of strange things. Your hormones are all whacked out, and it’s just going to get crazier. I drank two gallons of water a day while pregnant. It’s just one of those things.
One of the best things you can do is find a good website with a great message board. Babyzone.com is a good one. There are message boards for your entire pregnancy, and you could even develop friendships with other preggos along the way. They also offer great advice to get you through your pregnancy.
Since you’re only 5 weeks, you’re just barely at the beginning of your pregnancy. It’s really easy to hear alarm bells every time something is different. That’s okay. You’ll get used to them. If it makes you feel better, go ahead and call your doctor. That’s what they’re there for. They’re used to hysterical pregnant mamas calling in for every bump, bruise, smell and twinge. If you didn’t freak out, you wouldn’t be getting ready to be a mom. They’ll most likely tell you that you’re fine and that it’s normal. You’re going to be pregnant for another 35 weeks (if all goes well), just punch them into your speed dial and enjoy the ride!
