I'm 17 and have problems with estrogen because of Minulette contraceptive?
I’m 17 and have extreme problems with vulvovaginal candidiasis for the past 2 years the doctor put me on Sporanox for 6months with a topical cortisone cream and lomexin cream and recently i have extreme vaginal burning and peeling the burning is really at its worst the morning after i had sex please help can i become infertile from having vulvovaginal candidiasis for such a long time?? For the last 1and a half months i’m on Yasmin contraceptive because they say that Yasmin will set my estrogen levels right is this true?? Please Help!!

Yes, it’s possible that being on the Yasmin could help keep the yeast issues under control because of it being a lower hormone level than the previous pill you were on. When one goes on a higher dose birth control pill when it comes to estrogen levels it can cause one to have problems with frequent yeast infections.
One thing I found helpful to preventing yeast infections from being a problem when on the pill of higher dose estrogen contents was by taking acidophillous. Acidophillous is a good bacteria that helps to keep things in balance such as with the vagina and intestines.
I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see if it’s ok for you to use this.
