GET TO A DOCTOR PRONTO! It will not go away on its own. YOGURT will help a lot though, if you eat like 3 yogurts a day, but more so at the start of the infection. Once it is at a painful level, the doctor needs to help you.
But so you know, Yogurt kills the bacteria causing the UTI when it gets to your urinary tract. It will kill the UTI before it gets fullblown. SEX with new partners, wearing tight clothes or dance tights, leotards, and wearing dirty pads or pantiliners too long all lead to UTI’s.
SO, to prevent the UTI’s pee before sex and right after if you are very prone to them or are having sex with a new partner.
It’s best to ask a doctor on this one. You don’t want to take any chances.
drinking cranberry juice may help
Water and cranberry juice does help flush your kidneys on down through the urinary tract, although never as much as a gallon. You need to keep your electrolytes balanced or your entire body can suffer. Your heart especially needs the right balance of potassium and sodium. If you drink too much your flushing the good along with the bad. There is also a problem with water toxicity, which you really don’t need on top of everything else. Depending on how long you’ve had the infection there’s a possibility that you already need the antibiotics. You can try 8-10 glasses of water a day, but if you are going to drink the cranberry juice too, which I advise strongly, drink 7 glasses of water and 3 of juice. If you’re not feeling better in a couple of days or the symptoms get worse then the only choice is the doctor for sure. Good luck and God Bless
