How to get rid of chronic oral thrush?

I have had chronic oral thrush many of times started out with using nystatin, then the losenges that go on your toung 3-4 times a day, and I finally used diflucan which I have had multiple times the diflucan gets rid of it but for a short period then it comes back is there another medicine that I can get that will make it go away?

Do you have diabetes or HIV? Some medical conditions create an environment that causes chronic thrush. Have you tried eating yogurt with active cultures in it twice a day? If you are diabetic, make sure your blood sugar is well controlled. Investigate dietary changes to prevent thrush. It may go away if you correct the imbalance. Are you using all the medicine or stopping when it goes away?
