how long to wait to go to doctor for yeast or urinary tract infection?

I have been itching for over a week. Now it burns off and on when I pee.Is this a yeast infection? how long to wait before I go to the doctor?
My period started today

Sounds like a UTI. Drink water and cranberry juice and go to the doctor. There is also over the counter pills called AZO that will help until you can get in to see the doctor.
You should go ahead to the doctor. Either way, you will need treatment with a medication.
It sounds as if you do have a urinary tract infection. I would go and see the doctor, he may prescribe some anti bio-tics. Other than that drink plenty of water and a glass of cranberry juice a day.
Go to the doctor anyway.

i just to get that too i never went to the docs cuz i didnt know what it was
i was like that for like 2 or 3 weeks something
it will goaway or just go to the store and by vag. cream for like 10 bucks or less
