I found out I had systemic cadidiasis once, after antibiotic treatment followed by thrush.
It takes months to get rid of it completely, but, usually if you suppress the bacteria, it is virtually gone.
To suppress it, take a regiment of Lactobacillus acidophilus for a few weeks. I would suggest buying a cleansing formula with LA from GNC and follow the directions.
It really worked for me. My thrush cleared after two days and after the first week, I felt amazing.

However it is worth noting, if she performs oral sex on you whilst you still have a yeast infection, she could develop a yeast infection in her mouth which she almost certainly would not thank you for!
