how long can a yeast infection last without treatment?

can it last longer than a few weeks, or even a year?

Yeast infections will usually not go away without some form of treatment.
Although there is no definite answer to this because every individual is different and their bodies react and heal to yeast infections differently. You will get various replies.
My advice GO SEE A DOCTOR… it can go on for weeks, months and sometimes years. Never good!
Drink cranberry juice it helps the bacteria not be able to stick to the walls.
Hydrogen Peroxide Douche.
Hi…it can last positively ages. I know a lady who had one, didn’t know what it was, was embarrassed to see your doctor, and suffered for 6 years before she eventually went, due to excruciatingly painful attempts at sex. Sometimes there is a discharge, the white one you hear about, and sometimes there’s nothing, just the pain… the longer it goes, the harder it’ll be to kill off…
They can last forever if they go untreated. I had thrush from taking prednisone, which is basically a yeast infection in your throat, for almost 2 years and thought i just had heartburn 24/7. It was horrible and I’d probably still have it now if it didn’t work it’s way up to the back of my throat where the doctor could see it.

It’s not worth letting a yeast infection get out of control and developing something like thrush all over your body.
