How do I treat a red/itchy vulva?

Hi all,
I went hiking the other day in some pretty close-fitting shorts and cotton panties. The next morning I woke up and had some itching and redness around the area of my vulva. I haven’t had sex in months and I am positive it is not an STD. What could it be, and what is the best way to get rid of it? Thanks!

Vagisil.
Try a cool shower and then let it dry naturally, let the air get to it, sounds daft but you have chaffed it by the sound of it. If its no better in a day or too your chemist could prescribe some mild hydrocortisone cream to help soothe the area.
the friction caused this, use canesten cream to soothe it, wash only with fresh water,no perfumed stuff as it will irritate. in a couple of days it should settle down again. just make sure you wear loose underwear till then
Most likly it is just a heat rash, use some baby powder, and some moisterizing lotion. It will hurt and itch a little bit but it will go away in a few days.
best thing go to the doctors don’t put powder on it because if you are senitive it can be worse
VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY nice sex!
