how did women treat vaginal yeast infections BEFORE the pills?
how did people treat yeast infections 200 years ago? before there were pills and medications?
did they live with it for the rest of their lives? i don’t think so, because even having sex is painful with a yeast infection.
if they could treat it naturally, why doesn’t everyone?

That’s a good question. Most vaginal imbalances are capable of clearing themselves up without any medication, but these days I think people feel a need to medicate every little thing that feels wrong with them.
Things like yeast infections were also probably less common back then, because synthetic fabrics (that trap moisture and don’t allow skin to breathe), tight fitting clothing, etc. were all but non existent, as were feminine sprays and douches that came into being for women to make themselves supposedly smell better (but really cause more harm than good).
As for treating it naturally, yogurt, garlic, and certain herbs are effective.
Hope this helps
