How did I test positive for chlamydia when my boyfriend tested negative?

I have been in a monogamous relationship with my boyfriend for a little over a year now and we have unprotected sex. I just recently got my PAP done and I tested positive for chlamydia. I confronted my boyfriend and he went to the doctor right away to get tested for it. The clinic he went to did blood work and took a urine sample from him. The clinic called my boyfriend this morning and informed him that he tested negative. How is this possible?

Sounds like he just got lucky.
Make sure you get it taken care of before he does get it though.

hello well i guess he needs to be retested if not then you will keep passing it back n forth you both need drug treatment at same time like it or not don’t be told otherwise ok/…johnno
I am not sure how he did not get it, but you can have it for weeks and months without even knowing it. So you could have had it before you even met him.
Both of you should get tested again
The same has happened to me! It has totaly confused me.
