cranberry juice and water didnt help because its not an anti-biotic to get rid of the infection. Cranberry juice is used just for the health of the bladder, not to treat anything. UTIs generally cannot be treated without an anti-biotic. There is this over the counter pill for RELIEF, not treatment called, Azo. It can be found just about anywhere you can buy medicine. I suggest you get to the doctor because UTIs can be serious if left untreated. And tell him/her that the last anti-biotic you were on did not work for you. And once you start the anti-biotic make sure you take it everyday as directed until the pills are gone. If you stop taking them it does not completely clear out the infection. Good luck
you can buy over the counter meds to numb but, don’t use that for an antibiotic substitution. Maybe you can give your local health department a call!
Crnbry juice has to be juice not cocktail. Anyway, try apple cider vinegar (preferaby BRAGG brand from wholefoods or health store). mix 2 tsp of vinegar 2 of honey n 8 oz of water. drink 3 times a day.
A UTI is caused by bacteria, and other than an antibiotic, you’re probably not going to cure it. You can drink TONS of water to help flush your system, but that’s no guarantee that you will get rid of the bacteria.
If your insurance card is missing, simply call your insurance company have them send you a new one. Often, you can print one right online.
Both Target and Walmart have an extensive list of $4 generic medications, and there are lots of antibiotics on those lists, so that’s something to keep in mind. If you reacted poorly to the medication you were prescribed last time, tell your doctor and they can give you a different type this time.
Don’t mess around with UTIs. If left untreated they can worsen and spread to your kidneys, where they can cause scarring and a whole host of more serious problems.
Drink Cranberry Juice it works for me. drink a lot of it.
