Exactly how long does it take to get results back from an STD test?

I recently made a huge mistake and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend(now ex). He then told me two weeks after the act, that he had cheated on me earlier on the same day we had sex(also unprotected). I go in for a complete STD test in the afternoon tomorrow and would like to know how long I should expect to wait for the results of each test. I’ve been extremely worried(although I show no signs) since he told me.

If they have to send it to a lab it may take more then a week. Call the place where you had it done, ask how long it would take to get some results, oh and you may want to consider dumping this guy or not having sex with him if he is going to cheat on you.

it depends on the lab really, depending on how many other tests it has to get done. generally results are available in 1-2 weeks.
