Does cream cheese ruin your candida diet, and what about heavy whipping cream?
Just in case you have wondered, I made my husband’s cheesecake totally separate from mine. lol
My husband asked me to make cherry cheesecake and I was desperate to at least eat some cream cheese plain…but I used xylitol, (it has anti fungal properties and is on the safe list for candida) added an egg, whipped it up and cooked it in the oven without a crust. I must have eaten too much of it. I felt a little funny at first but in an hour there were no other noticeable effects. I am sure that cream cheese isn’t good for elimination. Is heavy whipping cream allowed in a little coffee each morning? I read sooo many controversial versions of this diet, I hardly know what to do. Thanks for your answers!
Doug Kaufman is the one that says cream cheese and heavy whipping cream is allowed!
I only want to use the heavy whipping cream about 2 times a week in my coffee-for dessert.
this is not a diet to lose weight. It is a diet that rids your body of yeast.
I DO NOT NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT! THANK GOD! I just need to get rid of the fungus that was caused from too much sugar, grains, dairy products etc. Fungus/Yeast overgrowth is what causes arthritis, cancer, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome…the list goes on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suggest to you that you find a good colon hydro-therapist. Take caprylic acid, drink pau d’arco tea, lots of garlic or garlic supplements, grape seed extract and make sure that you are taking strong probiotics. Drink TONS of water. No sugar, fruit, NO dairy, or grains of any kind for at least a month and going to a hydro-therapist every week. (I went every week for 3 months-really gets the yeast out sooo much faster) Stick to the diet very closely and gradually you can add a few things like a little fruit every now and then and a little legumes and a few other starchy foods-just DON’T OVERDO. It is really best to stay as low carb as possible only using green leafy veggies, broccoli…never corn or peanuts or pistachios. You may have other fresh uprocessed nuts.
I had the same problem a few years ago and this straightened me out in just a few months. If you have any questions I will be glad to help.
Diets don’t work. Work out.
Hello,
Great question. Cream cheese should not be permitted on a candida diet for ultimate effectiveness. Heavy whipping cream is allowed in small amounts but I would avoid it entirely.
A good candida plan to follow is ‘The Fungus Link’ be Doug Kaufmann. Also you need to work on healing the gut wall in any anti-candida plan. http://www.dchealth.com.au/ has some good resources on digestion
