Do I have a male yeast infection?
*Gross description included, don’t read if you’re squeamish.*
My girlfriend and I are pretty sure that she has a yeast infection. However, she did not tell me this until AFTER we had unprotected sex. That was a few days ago, and now the head of my penis is itchy, and i noticed that it was really red. Also, there is this white…stuff. I don’t really know what it is but it’s there every time i pull back my foreskin.
But it doesn’t burn to urinate. I shower every day (thoroughly) so that white stuff isn’t any residue or anything. These are the only symptoms that I’ve noticed.
Could I have a male yeast infection? How do I get rid of it? If it’s meds I’m kind of screwed cuz I’m broke for the next 2 weeks at least.

In order to get rid of it w/o visiting the dr. and getting a diagnosis (w/ a prescription for antibiotics) you can try using monostat over the counter in the feminine higiene aisle. Just apply the skin on your penis.
if she has passed it on to you it’s called a uti (urinary tract infection) in men…
if you drink a lot of water you may be able to get rid of it on your own,,, i hear cranberry juice works too… if it persists you need to see a doctor for a prescribed antibiotic to clear it up…
