Did Americans get the idea that a woman’s vulva is more sexually appealing shaved or waxed, from watching porn?

In the 70s, 80s, and through the later 90s, a girls bush was a normal as a guys bush. Many guys found it to be a turn on.

Then porno girls ridded themselves of the bush and it became the cultural expectation. So are we now getting our ideas of what is normal from pornography?
