Chlamydia is definitly not a virus. Its caused by the bacteria Chlamydia trachomatis it can be cured with antibotics and will no longer be in the system. It can live in the system for years if untreated.
it never leavs and could be fatal
Like mentioned… Chlamdia is not a virus… its a bacteria… viruses stay in your system where bacteria can be killed with antibiotics… the reason chlamydia may seem to "reappear" later in life is that many peopel after being diagnosed.. take their medicine and then never go back for a check up to see if that medicine worked for them. They think they are cure when in reality that medicine was never strong enough… later they can have symptoms or get tested and it will obviously show up positive… Once someone gets a negative test there is no way for them to be postive again unless they sleep w/ someone infected
Yes, it is true which is why you MUST see a proffesional dr. and use protection, if Chlamydia reacures to alot then it will start to brake down your fertility!
While that tends to be true of many viruses, chlamydia isn’t a virus, and it can be completely eradicated. Your confusion may be in mixing it up with other diseases or with the fact that the treatment isn’t completely successful 100% of the time.
