Chances i can contract an STD or make a girl pregnant while using a condom?

Im 18, male and wondering what are the chances i can get an STD or impregnate a girl even while using condoms? Is it common for everyone in USA to have STDs these days? I see so many sexually active people around me. Have they just accepted the fact that they will get an STD one of these days? Please enlighten me.

Thinking about the possibility of having a sexually transmitted disease can be an embarrassing and uncomfortable thing to think and talk about. With that said though, your first priority should always be to your own well-being and the safety of your health. STDs can be dangerous when left undiagnosed or untreated, so if you think you may be suffering from one, it is important to get yourself tested as quickly as possible. Even if you are not experiencing symptoms, sexual educators and specialist recommend highly that all sexually active individuals get tested regularly. In fact the standard of regular STD testing is every 3 months, even if you are with the same partner. With temptation and infidelity being at all time highs; it is never a good idea to “assume” when it comes to your health. Getting STD tested regularly and especially prior to engaging in sexual intercourse with a new partner are necessary to building an awareness to yourself and your partner that you take your health seriously, and if they want have or continue to have a relationship with you, that they should do the same.
Using condoms is one of the best way to protect yourself from any STDs. If you are infected of STD ,STD tests are a good idea if you believe that you have come into contact with a sexually transmitted disease.
