Can I spread my yeast infection to boyfriend?

I had a vaginal yeast infection a week ago.. went to the doctor.. got fluconzale, yeast infection went away two days. I just had intercourse with my boyfriend and got a burning feeling after.. I’m thinking it had to do with the yeast infection. Could I have spread it?

Yes he can get the yeast infection but it is different for a man. He well then pass it back to you and then the cycle repeats it self. Best bet is not to have sex until the infection clears it self. Have him checked to make sure he does not have it if so and you have cleared yours he well give it right back to you so its best to both get treated
Yes you could have spread it. if it wasn’t completely gone, there could still be some infection in there. make sure your boyfriend knows that if he starts to itch that it’s only a yeast infection- hopefully you didn’t spread it.
It could definitely spread with exchange of bodily fluids. He might have a chance of not contracting it if he had used a condom.
