Can chlamydia cause a man to become infertile even if he has had kids in the past?
I recently discovered that my ex gave me chlamydia. It has been treated, but I am afraid that it will have a permanent affect on me.

Yes. My husband and I are going through this problem now. He had chlamydia for a few years, and he had no symptoms. When he finally got it treated, it had already did damage. He had two children before, now he can’t have any.
yes I heard it can if it goes long enough untreated, but that’s weeks after symptoms occur, not days.
Me too. I just rescently got cured for it, but didn’t have it for long. The only time it even leaves damage to your body, is when you could actually feel the side effects from it. Like, sore genitals, pains in the lower abdamin, & headaches all the time. Stuff like that. But for a girl it is a little different. When they get side effect, they’re way more painful. And most of the time, guys don’t get signs, or side effect. Reason being why they can go so long with having a disease and not knowing it. But to answer your question, yes guys can go infertile. But eventually they will become fertile again, because they only go unfertile for so long. Now me, when i got chlymydia, i got cured for it quicker than i could have even gotten the side effect, so it didn’t scare my phlopian tube like it would have if i didn’t catch the disease when i did.
