Candida albicans, the same type of yeast that causes vaginal yeast infections can cause a condition called jock itch in males and sometimes females and is one of the fungi that can cause athlete,s foot.Depending on the severity of his infection is is even possible that it could have been transmitted by laundering his socks and your panties in the same load.
