I have tiny clumps of discharge in yellowish green coming out. My whole vaginal area itched soooo bad at first but these few days have gotten a whole lot better. I dont know if it’s a yeast infection of some bacterial infection. I heard that yeast infections sometimes have to do with hormones and I’ve been getting my period every other week! it’s driving me crazy I don’t know what’s going on. I think I’ve had this problem before and it eventually went away but I don’t know what it is!

ok so im not really sure how to get a vaginal yeast infection or if what i have is a yeast infection.
so basicly ive been a little bit itchy and have had a tiny bit of pain.
also one day i had discharge. its was white but had a yellowish tint but not very much.

could this be a yeast infection?
and also how exacly do you get yeast infections?

I’m asking this for my sister that doesn’t have internet access right now so I don’t have a lot of details but she said it’s been smelling bad for about a month & it doesn’t really itch & discharge is normal. She said she can’t describe the smell it’s just weird but not like a fishy smell. She used a monistat thing for yeast infections she said you shoot in there but it didn’t help. I don’t think it sounds like a yeast infection anyways since she’s not itching. Anyone no what else can cause smells. She doesn’t have any STD’s the last time she was checked which was when she was preggo a little over a year ago.
Yes, my sister. I just had my daughter 2 weeks ago, if I were having this problem I would call my Dr but my sister is too stubborn.

I’ve recently discovered that I’m allergic to antifungal medications such as those used to treat yeast infections, ringworm, and athlete’s foot. I know what to do about yeast infections—yogurt, but what am I supposed to do I do if I get a ringworm or have athlete’s foot?

Right now I am on an antibiotic, so I’m worried about increasing my susceptibility to yeast infections (especially because I will be on this medicine for a long time). I’ve heard that yogurt is great for preventing infections, but I really hate yogurt. Are there other foods that work like this?

My 9 year old pitbull gets horrible yeast infections all over his body. Currently I am giving him 1 probiotic acidophilus daily plus 1/4cup yogurt and 3 benadryl twice a day. He also gets bathed with antifungal shampoo several times a week. What should I be feeding him?

Did any of you get a yeast infection before you found out you were pregnant? When I went to my dr for the infection (went because it was totoally different from any other yeast infections I have ever had) he was looking inside of me and asked me if I thought I maybe pregnant? Could a yeast infection be a sign or could he have seen something that would make him think that I could be pregnant?
And if he saw something, what would it have been?

I have had a never ending yeast infection for almost a year now. I am so sensitive down there that it has gotten to the point where I cant do anything that I used to anymore. Getting graphic…30 seconds into wearing a tampon I feel the yeast infection starting, everytime before I get my period I feel it coming on again, whenever I wear a thong, if I eat anything sweet. No matter how many vitamins I take, all the yeast creams in the world, the best diet I’m on, nothing seems to work!!!! I can not live like this anymore, it cant be normal to get it this much! I have gone to doctors and they just give me pills to treat yeast (that barely work). And I can NEVER even attempt to have sex because that gives me extreme yeast infections. My older sister has been suffering from this for about 4 years now, and I just started a year ago.. but no one in our family has ever had it. Whats wrong with us?? Is it genetic?? or something in our body producing way too much yeast? I am desperate, help!

Hi guys I am not 5mnths and 1wk and this now my second yeast infection I had one at 14and1/2 wks and now I am getting another one my Dr. prescribed a pill for me to take has anyone else had this happened I am so concerned I see my Dr. next week and I am wondering why I am getting so many yeast infections when I never had them before I got pregnant. Okay.. so i have gotten yeast infections i would say about 4 times in the past 6 months..
Currently i have the itching and burning but no CLEAR signs of for sure yeast infection yet, so i dont want to start treating it.
I do take birth control, and when i asked my doctor about birth control potentially causing more yeast infections she said "yeah but what are you going to do, not take the pill?"
So i feel hopeless … and also want to know if its normal? and if having several yeast infections could make new issues in the future.
Also i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or tricks on how to take away the itching and possibly preventing them in the future.

i took a fluconazole tablet to treat my yeast infection.
but now my bladder has been feeling a lot of pressure.
and i have to pee soo much! and it is alot of pee.

i was looking online for possible treatments and i saw one called bladder&yeast infections. should i take that?

if anyone has ever tried that medicine tell me how it worked.

but yeah…anyone else have thi problem…whats causing it?

ok so in the past 3 months ive had 2 yeast infections and I’ve gone to the doctor for both. my doctor asked if diabetes ran in my family an I told her that both my grandfathers have it. my doctor said that if I keep getting these infections she’s going to have to test me for diabetes. I’m kinda confused because I don’t see the conection.
