This is the second time I have had yeast infection, first time in June and now, and this time it’s worse. The itching and burning is gone, but candina white stuff is still there, and its more everyday. I used treatment and it did nothing. Does anyone know how long does the yeast infection last? And how to treat if effectively?
PS: I drink a lot of buttermilk, if that helps

I only have the shredded garlic in the glass tub to treat it. I have a yeast infection and Im too embarresed to ask my dad to buy me over the counter treatment. Any home remedies I could use for a quick cure? Would the shredded stuff still work if I just smeared it on my vagina?
He has black goo coming out of both ears. It is slimey and kind of looks like coffe grinds. It is dark brown in color. I have two types of treatment at home. One for ear mites and one for a yeast infection. I don’t want to give both. Bringing him to the vet will cost me .00 for him to look at him and .00 for a lab fee- money which I don’t have at the moment. Thank you for any help! Greatly appreciated! I just found out I have a yeast infection using a Monistat screening kit and I bought a Monistat one day treatment. This is the first time I’ve ever had one and the number on the screening kit’s thing was 6.0 if that’s helpful. Is it better to use the one day treatment versus the 7 day treatment?

I am in my 8th week of pregnancy and my doctor put me on Terconazole (vaginal cream 0.4%) for some yeast I apparently had forming(with no itching, no burning… none of the "signs" of a yeast infection). Well I used it 2 nights ago and everything went fine, but then i used it again last night and this morning when I woke up and went to the bathroom there was some pinkish coloring on the toilet paper when I wiped. So, I looked at the paper they give you with perscriptions to see if light bleeding was a side effect of it and no where on there did it say anything about bleeding, but, I did find one thing that starteled me a great bit. The paper says "since terconazole is absorbed from the human vagina, it should not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy unless the physician considers it essential to the welfare of the patient." It also said a few things about when tested on rats while they were pregnant, the rats had a smaller litter size with reduced fetal weight. I know my doctor is a good doctor, I just don’t know why, if I wasn’t itching or if I didn’t have burning, he would put me on this cream when it says NOT to use it unless it is "…essential to the welfare of the patient."
This is my second pregnancy but my first ended in a miscarriage at 8 weeks. I keep trying to remain calm and keep trying to tell myself "everything will be fine" but its hard to keep telling yourself that when you start having light bleeding.
I don’t want to run to the hospital if its nothing, which is why I am asking if anyone else had the same or a similar experience in the first trimester with this vaginal cream or any other vaginal cream.

Here is the TRUTH since you like to go on assumptions. I at least ASK questions as part of the way I SEEK the to find the truth. a woman I know who was hiking / camping all over Australia, Hawaii and New Zealand came home to have her doctor give her this diagnosis- she did not define if he was a naturopath or a regular doctor. He gave her some pills or meds to take - I did not see them - and she told me about it. She said "did you know you can get a yeast infection throughout your body?" I said NO I did not know. Then I went to try and find info about it on the web. I could only find advertising info to buy products and ONE that was NOT selling anything. Seemed he was genuinely trying to help people and he gave them ways on how to "cure" it themselves by modification of diet and acidolpholis / bifidus.

Just wondering, I am on penicillin (which I believe caused the yeast infection) and am going to talk to my doctor about medication for it tomorrow. Can I take yeast infection medication while on penicillin? I have a few days left of the penicillin.

i am 12 and i have a yeast infection that wont go away even though i have went to the doctor and have used a million yeast treatments. and yes the doctor did take a swab test so we are sure it is yeast and not a UTI. anyways i read online that there is this home remedy where you take a garlic clove and put it up there and it is supposed to cure yeast. is this even true and if it is is it safe?

i went to the doctors got a swab and i found out i had BV i finished all the antibiotics a few days ago but i am still getting lots of discharge although the smell and quantity has gone down its still there also today i noticed my whole tongue was covered in a creamy thick layer of stuff i tried scrapping it off some has come of but most wont.
do i have a yeast infection?
if so why did the doctors get it wrong?
