So I’ve recently (about a wk and half) started feeling burnin in my vagina everytime I would go pee or take a shower and wash up w.soap. Yesterday, I finally went to the doctor and she told me I had a yeast infection calld candidiasis she gave me cream and said put it on for 7 nights straight. I researched this and some pictures are pretty awful. Ever since yesterday I started itchin in back are not exactly in my anus but around my buttcheecks. Im really worried.. I feel like this is never gonna go away.:( or is gonna turn into something else… anyone had this symptoms before? Or any advice?

I’m 21, and have never had children. I only have had one sexual partner, my husband (and just to clarify neither of us have any STD’s)

I get a pap every 6 months and I’ve never had a yeast infection. I don’t have skin irritation and the odor isn’t fishy. I take showers/baths often and use mild soaps without dyes or fragrance, so it’s not that I’m not clean.

I always smell it really stongly after sex. What could cause this?

I have tiny clumps of discharge in yellowish green coming out. My whole vaginal area itched soooo bad at first but these few days have gotten a whole lot better. I dont know if it’s a yeast infection of some bacterial infection. I heard that yeast infections sometimes have to do with hormones and I’ve been getting my period every other week! it’s driving me crazy I don’t know what’s going on. I think I’ve had this problem before and it eventually went away but I don’t know what it is!

i just got off my perioud saturday and starting have this thin milky discharge that stinks.. i’ve never had it before so i’d just like to know whats causing it? i don’t have itching redness or burning so i don’t think it’s a yeast infection..

my mom just recently had a yeast infection and she was telling me about how she experienced itching and the discharge had a bad odor to it, but that she’s been able to use medicine to cure it . . . . .but my question isn’t about my mom . . . . it’s about me because(well first of all i’m 15 years old) and when my mom was explaining this to me, i suddenly remembered back to when i was about 12 years old. at the time, i also had itching "down there" and i had yellow discharge that had an odor to it, but for some reason, i never told my mom and i never worried about. it lasted for a few months. the itching didn’t appear until later(probably around the last couple of weeks) and it irritated me and i thought i had a rash or something so i put some anti itching relieving cream on it and it went away . . .i think it’s kinda funny how i’m just suddenly remembering this . . . . but does it sound like i had a yeast infection? the only two things i really noticed were yellow discharge with an odor and itching at the time(no problems or pain while urinating or anything like that). can anyone just tell me the basic symptoms of a yeast or vaginal infection and is it possible to have it for three or four years? can a yeast infection go away on its own? ever since that happened, i haven’t experienced any itching . . . .but at times i have seen some yellow discharge with a slight odor(it’s not alot), but most of the time my discharge is white.
i only see the yellow discharge when i wipe. i don’t actually see it fall into the toilet or anything when i pee.

I took an antibiotic for an infection (not related to female health) and it not only killed the bad bacteria- it killed the good bacteria too….now, I have a yeast infection!

that tree tea oil is wonderful for yeast infections.

I am not sure about this-but I was willing to give it a try. Has anyone ever used tea tree oil and does it really work for vaginal yeast infections? Are there any side effects of using tea tree oil (other than the slight burning)?

How long should I continue to use this? I was thinking two days may be three days at the max. Does it kill the yeast or would I have to resort to the over-the-counter remedy like Monostat?

Any advice from a nurse or doctor would be great. If anyone has any information about the natural side of remedies-please let me know.

I am not into natural remedies-but I do believe that they can work for some people.

well 3 weeks ago i had a yeast infection (vaginitis candidiasis) and the doctor gave me antibiotics and crem and wash for 2 weeks. but then after d first week i had an infection in my throat and i was given augmentin pills for 1 week aswell. so last week i finished all my medication. my throat is fine. and i had my period this week but today i woke up itchy down there and i think my yeast infection is back :/ any ideas why it came bk? maybe from the augmentin pills? :/

Okay, I’m pretty sure this is a yeast infection. I haven’t had one in the past, but I’m confident enough that I do NOT have an STD that exhibits the same symptoms. I cross checked symptoms with my friends who have had them internet sources including WebMD, and a yeast infection seems to be the most likely.

Mostly, my vaginal area is extremely sore, specifically the outer edges of it and the surrounding labia. Sexual intercourse is painful and causes more irritation. I’ve had some discharge, although it is not necessarily chunky and white - it’s mostly clear and odorless. I recently (less than a week before noticing symptoms) came off a cycle of antibiotics for an unrelated infection. It itches like no freaking other, especially when my legs are "closed", for lack of a better word.

Does this sound like a yeast infection to other, more experienced people? How should I proceed? Is it absolutely necessary that I have it checked out by a doctor, like all the websites say?

So, My dad has thrush, for he second time. Basically a yeast infection in your mouth. As far as I know, he is in no pain, but every food tastes funky, except for applesauce and orange juice (these two food tasted normal the first time he had thrush as well). Now, applesauce and orange juice are not a very appealing diet. SO my question is, do you know of any food that taste normal while you have thrush?

I’m asking this for my sister that doesn’t have internet access right now so I don’t have a lot of details but she said it’s been smelling bad for about a month & it doesn’t really itch & discharge is normal. She said she can’t describe the smell it’s just weird but not like a fishy smell. She used a monistat thing for yeast infections she said you shoot in there but it didn’t help. I don’t think it sounds like a yeast infection anyways since she’s not itching. Anyone no what else can cause smells. She doesn’t have any STD’s the last time she was checked which was when she was preggo a little over a year ago.

I went to the dermatologist and she said it could be yeast infection. The moisture under the breast is causing it. It is hard to keep the antifungal cream in place. I have been using the cream with not too much relief. Are there any other home remedies I could try?

I have been to the doctor several times over the past few years, the first few times they prescribed me something for a yeast infection. It would go away for a while. Then they found it was a bacteria infection. That made it go away for almost a year when treated. Well the symptoms came back very similar. Itching, and discharge…. no discoloration or swelling. I went back again and he said there was nothing wrong and gave me a prescription for yeast infection again. I’ll looked and looked online and nothing. Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?
They gave me the prescriptions because he even said he didn’t know what else to do.

Im not on my period, my discharge is usually clear or slightly white but now its a lot whiter. It’s not itchy or anything either. I’ve been eating yogurt everyday hoping that would help if it was a yeast infection. But it’s not itchy and the discharge isn’t thick- so do i have a yeast infection, could it be something else? or is it normal?
