i have been taking it since tuesday, 4 days, 1 pill a day, when does it clear?
I’ve been having some symptoms of a UTI for the past couple of days. On the first day the pain was pretty prominent, but then it started decreasing and can hardly be felt. My doctor is away and I can’t make an appointment until next Monday, which is 7 days away. I’ve read that untreated UTIs can lead to serious complications; could there be any that develop from waiting for such a period of time? Also, what can I do while waiting to lessen the symptoms?
I recently had sex and because of my history, I don’t need my parents to find out. Is there anything I can take over the counter?
like how many days. i got my first UTI 3 days ago. and it hasnt gone away yet. im not using antibiotics or seeing a doctor, because my mom said that i dont need one this early on. so ive been drinking cranberry juice and water, and also ive been taking cranberry pills. but i am very disappointed that its not gone yet. so how many days should it be here for?
my aunt has a urinary tract infection and it is bleeding is it serious
I know that there are several other antibiotics/antibacterials more commonly used to treat UTIs such as Macrobid and Bactrim. However, I do not have health insurance until August 1st and am trying to avoid doctor fees, and the flagyl is the only antibiotic that I currently have access to. What do you think? Should I go for it? I hate to take antibiotics casually if I don’t need them, especially flagyl because it can make you sick, especially if you drink alcohol, but the UTI won’t go away and I am quite uncomfortable. BTW, I’ve been swallowing tons of cranberry pills and water to no avail. This is a persistent one! Thanks in advance!
If so, what were your symptoms? What medication were you prescribed? and did you get side effects from the medication?
My symptoms have been low pubic stabbing pains and since starting antibiotics yesterday (amoxycillin) I am RIDICULOUSLY fatigued!!! I also just noticed my glands are swollen. Does this sound normal, or should I return to the dr?
I still have it even though I have been on lots of antibiotics, it’s still not going away. They are currently doing a Urine Culture which should indicate what kind of bacteria I have.
i have been on a urinary tract infection for 2 weeks and just started another one for another 10 days.. but i am on birth control and have not stop taking it…my and my fiance had sex with out a condom 3 times and he did not pull out
I don’t really have time to get to the doctors for a while, plus i dont really want to spend the money, but classic symptoms: pee a lot, but a very small amount, slightly painful, its actually tinted pink however.
Its the 4th day I’ve had my uti and my 3rd day of treating. I got the over the counter pills and I have drank a ton of water and a ton of cranberry juice. So how bad would it be if i had some coffee.
Went to the Dr. this morning because i needed antibiotics for my urinary tract infection. The doctor ended up sticking his finger in my anus to check for an enlarged prostate. Is that normal?
