My mother is 46,has hyper thyroid and has recently undergone a topical corticosteroid treatment.Since then she has had white patches on her tongue, white spots on the inside cheeks and a whitish deep pocket like area where the lower cheek meets the gum line around the lower jaw. When felt by the tongue an uneasiness is felt. The physician diagnosed them to be thrush. Are they actually thrush? Can thrush affect all these areas? Please advice.

She’s in excruciating pain every month in her abdomen, has ‘brain fog’, very bloated, hypothyroid *symptoms*, candida yeast overgrowth — she’s miserable, the doctors have been of no help, say there’s nothing wrong with her. Thyroid levels are all over the map, from one extreme to the other.
Alkaline diet didn’t help. At all. Almost went broke with the natural remedies. I refuse to give up. What can I do?
