I want to know what this could be is this a fungus? and what is the name, all I know it started when i was about 12 years old and worked its way slowly in the center of my chest now its behind my ear under my arm really bad on my chest and its gotten to my butt cheek and scalp..it starts off like a lil tiny bump like and then just gets bigger and then they all start to connect and make a big section plus it itch gets a odor specially on my next cause it gets there and it smells like mildew…..if i wash my neck it peels but doesn’t go away…….my brother had it first and he brought it home lol…my cousin has it and so on and now my hubby has gotten it but hes dark skin and it come sup white on him and brown on me……..my mother had Candidiasis on the skin and this im talking about…and my brother had Candidiasis and my newborn niecee had Candidiasis and my grandmother but i don’t but they have the other stuff as well expect for the baby so…….is there something i can do to get rid of this ? and does anyone know the name? or a picture? thanks

I think I have an itchy eyelid fungus close to where my eyelids meet. Is there an OTC cream I can safely use? I have had for a long time. At first I thought maybe it was eyelid lice, but now I am sure its a fungus cause it gets dry and crusty from time to time and always itchy and only on the inner section (close to nose) of top eyelids. Most antifungal creams say not to get near your eyes. I need help!

My roommate is currently on a wild bread making kick, and is horrible about cleaning up the kitchen whenever he is done. A small amount of baker’s yeast is obviously in the doughy residue that he allows to accumulate on the range, countertop, and unwashed bowls that he leaves in the sink, and apart from the fact that this is aesthetically disconcerting, I fear that this is turning out kitchen into a breeding ground for fungus.

I know that oral thrush and vaginal yeast infections are usually caused by candida, and that baker’s yeast is of another species, but is there any danger that could come from letting such messes sit untouched? If I were to inadvertently bring baker’s yeast into contact with one of my mucus membranes, might it cause or make me more susceptible to an infection? If not, are there any other immediate threats to my health that this yeast could possibly cause?

I know that all of these questions would be deemed irrelevant if I were to just clean the kitchen myself, but I feel as though this would be some useful knowledge to have for future reference - as well as an opportunity to get in a fair "I told you so" with said roommate.

My friend was diagnosed with it about 4 months ago, but has not gone away, just gotten better but not completely and then comes back. The doctor tested her last week or so for other things, but she is waiting on the results, and she was negative for any stds besides herpes. We would like to know if anyone with herpes has experienced it for long periods of time even while taking medications, or if someone has an idea of what else she could have…fungus of any sort??? Just in case you have wondered, I made my husband’s cheesecake totally separate from mine. lol
My husband asked me to make cherry cheesecake and I was desperate to at least eat some cream cheese plain…but I used xylitol, (it has anti fungal properties and is on the safe list for candida) added an egg, whipped it up and cooked it in the oven without a crust. I must have eaten too much of it. I felt a little funny at first but in an hour there were no other noticeable effects. I am sure that cream cheese isn’t good for elimination. Is heavy whipping cream allowed in a little coffee each morning? I read sooo many controversial versions of this diet, I hardly know what to do. Thanks for your answers!

I am taking this product called "Candidase" from Enzymedica. This product contains protease and cellulase which are digestive enzymes we need to digest protein and fiber. I am taking it because I have a hard time digesting fiber. This product claims that it digests fungus in the body since fungus is made up of cellulose and protein. Do enzymes do a better job at getting rid of fungus than anti-fungal cleanses? What do you think?

I’m looking for something to kill yeast overgrowth permanently. I eat very clean, and avoid foods that are triggers. I’ve tried probiotics, and as long as I take them everyday I’m fine, but they don’t actually kill the fungus just keep it in control.

I read in a book about natural cures that there is a cure for candida however i no longer have acess to that book and i can’t find a website that doesn’t want to sell me something.

For the past six months I had a fungus on my chest, thought it’ll go away but the fungus spread on my back and chest. Visited the doctor and found out that I have some kind of FUNGUS! When I picked up my perscription I noticed that the label states FLUCONAZOLE TABLET 150mg????? When I opened the packet it says "Your doctor has prescribed fluconazole for a vaginal yeast* infection????? WTF??????

Yea Missee, the doc told me it was probably from sweat. I’m a bricklayer, 6 floor laying bricks, the sun is pretty rough. But I got that in Nov/Dec, which I didnt work. :\ ??????????
