I have tiny clumps of discharge in yellowish green coming out. My whole vaginal area itched soooo bad at first but these few days have gotten a whole lot better. I dont know if it’s a yeast infection of some bacterial infection. I heard that yeast infections sometimes have to do with hormones and I’ve been getting my period every other week! it’s driving me crazy I don’t know what’s going on. I think I’ve had this problem before and it eventually went away but I don’t know what it is!

I’ve been getting a thick white milky discharge for the past few days. i’m due for my period today or tomorrow, but have never seen this happen before. anyone have a clue as what it could be?

Ok, so I am going to start taking antibiotics due to an operation two days from now.

The first question is, how long will it effect my birth control and how long should I take an extra step in using protection? And the other question is, should I also protect myself via condom on top of the birth control the few days before I take the antibiotics? Or does it take a while for the antibiotics to conflict with the birth control? Thanks for the help!

Ok, well, my husband was put on cefadroxil about two weeks ago for an infection in his salivary gland. he then a few days later said he had bumps on the head of his penis. he had discharge that was clear. he keeps saying he must’ve just been allergic to the drugs. he didn’t take the course of cefa all together. he only took about half of it because he always forgot to take it. the bumps kept getting worse and began itching. he then started saying about 4 days ago it was getting better but i still saw him itching his crotch often. i kept telling him to get an std test b/c i think it’s chlamydia or gonnorhea. so, my question is basically if anyone knows of a drug reaction like this happening, and if it was an std, would the symptoms really dissipate without treatment? also, if he’s asymptomatic, is his std test result going to be effected? i know cefa can cause candidiasis but, this didn’t look like that, it was red bumps, not white and blotchy. so, can anyone answer any of these??

ok so went to doc a few days ago and got a diagnosis of penile candidiasis. I got it from my gf about a month ago when she was on heavy antibiotics. so i went to doc, gave me oral antifungal pills and this cream that i’ve been putting on every 8 hours and everytime i sweat or do an activity. so far i believe i’ve gotten better. it doesnt hurt as much anymore (it hurt to take the foreskin back, now it doesnt at all). but today after an about 20 minutes shower washing my part, i noticed that when i got out it was bleeding from a spec on the foreskin i had gotten the bleeding thing before when i wasnt on medication but hasn’t happened recently once i took it. is this normal? the bleeding only hurts when i bother the side. could it be from the yeast irritation/rash thingy?

She has an eye infection and ear infection. She started taking Augmentin (basically Amoxicillin) on Monday night. She’s had two full days of antibiotics. She is still running a fever (around 101 or 102, breaks and comes back throughout the day.) She is one year old. Does this mean the antibiotic isn’t working? Or is it normal for a fever to linger for a few days after antibiotics are introduced?

I have noticed recently that my semen is a strange pale clear/yellowish fluid whereas before it used to be thicker and more whiteish in colour, what could be the cause? It is still the same even if i have no sexual episodes for a few days

I’ve been itchy down there for a few days now and my discharge is thicker and whiter than usual and smells different. It doesn’t seem very severe (it doesn’t itch a whole lot and nothing’s red or anything), so I really don’t think it’s bad enough to warrant going to the doctor, and I’d rather not buy the special treatments for it if I’m not sure if it is a yeast infection or not. Are there any home treatments that would help if it is a yeast infection but not hurt if it isn’t?

A little over a week ago I went to the doctor for a pap smear and then i got a call of a few days later from the nurse, she said i came back positive for chlamydia. I’m not sure how long ive had it, since most of the time you don’t show any symptoms. i have, though, had a lot of pain, like just sharp pains in my lower stomach for quit some time. and also, lately ive been having random bleeding. it’ll come in the morning, i’ll put in a tampon and then later in the day i take it out and there is barely anything on it. this will happen most morning, maybe every other morning. so its not my period…is it from the chlamydia? should i be bleeding like this?

Sorry about the details here: My last period was around March 11th. A Few Days ago I started noticing an abnormally large amount of milky white stretchy discharge which is also called: leukorrhea. I’m wondering if this is too early for this to be happening if I was pregnant. A lot of people are saying this is a symptom of pregnancy but no one is saying how early it can start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also have been having some dull cramping stomach pains in the lower center abdomen and the lower right abdomen (but I also have endometriosis so I can’t really count that as a sign for anything).
There is no odor-I know its not an infection or anything. i’ve done lots of research and leukorrhea which is a stretchy milky white discharge is a symptom of being pregnant when it appears in larger amounts and for some people it stays throughout the entire pregnancy-I was trying to find out how early this syptom has appeared for those who have had it-I noticed some previous answers on this site as well in regards to it as being a sign you are pregnant-but no one has said how early.
I agree about my question not really being answered so I went out and bought some pregnancy tests which i’ll take over the next week.

I was taking a 10-day course of antibiotics. I can’t recall exactly when I stopped the treatment. But I know it was no more than 2 weeks ago. A few days ago, I started experiencing yeast infection-like symptoms. Then, yesterday, I went to the doctor. She swabbed and looked at it under the microscope. She said it was positive for yeast.

Could this yeast infection be a result of the antibiotics I took?

I was taking antibotics for strep-c and after my period was gone, i noticed the white cottage cheese stuff…. then i was very irritated down there, itchy. I took the 1day treatment, but it didn’t seem to work. A few days ago i started the 7 day treatment and i don’t have the cottage cheese discharge anymore but i am still a LITTLE irritated and it really burns when i apply the cream and stuff.. but everything else is normal.

so.. How will i know when my yeast infection is gone?? should i continue using the 7day until it’s done?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and a few days later developed sores on my vagina. I went to the gyno and took a culture test and I am still waiting for the results but it looks like textbook herpes. My boyfriend got tested the next day and is still waiting for his result, but was tested a month earlier and did not have any STD’s. Is it possible that I contracted herpes from my previous boyfriend and my first outbreak occur 2 months later?
