Later this month I’m get a physical for high school and I’m pretty sure I have Bacterial vaginosis even though I’m not sexually active. It’s this really bad odor and I’ve been doing research and I’m sure.I’m pretty sure I will be taking a urine sample and I want to know is that another way to diagnosis BV without having my ”privacy” invaded.

I have been having a burning feeling inside the inner labia just under the clitoris. It sometimes looks a little red and sometimes it does not. I recently took Diflucan and that didn’t help. Now I am noticing a slightly thick, milky discharge. I’m starting to wonder if it could be bacterial vaginosis. Would BV cause burning in the clitoral area without causing burning in and around the vagina?

I was wondering if anyone has ever had bacterial vaginosis and what your symptoms were. I thought I had a yeast infection, so I took medication, but it has not gone away. I also figured out that it wasn’t intense itching as a yeast infection is (i’ve had one before), just irritated and a twitch here and there. Could this be BV?
I’m not sexually active, so it cant be an STD

had been having discharge and irritation for months and finally i got myself to go into family planning, and was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. I am now taking flagyl 500 mg 2 a day for 7 days. I started taking them on sunday. Will this compltely cure me of bv? These pills make me kinda sick, and When does the discharge and symptoms usually start to go away?

I had been having discharge and irritation for months and finally i got myself to go into family planning, and was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. I have had bv before and taken priscriptions. It comes back though. And I came back to my doctor for more prescriptions. They checked me and said I am clean. But, they don’t understand that I still have odor down there. So I am taking probitics. I have just taken them yesterday so don’t know if any results yet. Can anyone tell me if it can help eliminate the odor?

does vaginal discharge when having a yeast infection like pastey almost? and white? not clumpy but its like a paste…
its not really itchy i guess maybe sometimes a little, i think its cause im on birth control and i used deordorized tampons last week for my period…thanks ill get some diflucan =)

I am a BAD hypochondriac so i get tested for std’s alot even though i only have one sexual partner. I constantly get BV so i freak out every time and get a swab done for stds.
I went today because of BV(the results came back) and at the appointment my doctor said it did not look like anything like Gonorrea or Chlamydia when she looked.

Is it possible to visually see these infections?

i went to the doctors got a swab and i found out i had BV i finished all the antibiotics a few days ago but i am still getting lots of discharge although the smell and quantity has gone down its still there also today i noticed my whole tongue was covered in a creamy thick layer of stuff i tried scrapping it off some has come of but most wont.
do i have a yeast infection?
if so why did the doctors get it wrong?

I went on medication for bv because my discharge had an unpleasant smell and I suffered from occasional burning after urination. The smell is completely gone but every once and a while it burns. It’s not extremely painful and irritating like most yeast infections so I’m wondering if I’m just getting soap down there…or something. I don’t know. Can you please tell me what are common causes for yeast infections/burning feelings and what products/activities to avoid. Thanks

I’ve been having recurrent BV and yeast for the past 2 months! I’ve just had some relieve and haven’t had any BV/yeast for two weeks……I have not used a hot tub or a jacuzzi, but my friend’s having a pool party and they have a jacuzzi….so I was wondering….can sitting in a jacuzzi cause a yeast/BV infection? I’m really paranoid!

I’m 19 and I went to the doctor for a pap smear and when the results came back she said that I have chlamydia and BV. But how could I have chlamydia when my partner always wore a condom? :S Serious answers only please.

i keep getting bv or yeast every month and its embarrassing to keep going to the clinic constantly. also can i douch with hydrogen peroxide once a week as a daily use to keep the infections from coming back?
