I'm 38 weeks as well and i've noticed the amount of discharge has been increasing almost daily. I've been in prelabour for the last 3 days as well and can't wait for labour to actually get started. I had so much discharge yesterday i think it actually may have been part of my mucous plug coming out... who knows? All we can do is wait. Just to double check- the discharge is thick and goes kind of crusty? If it is watery and requires you to wear a pad so as not to soak through your underwear you may have a slow amniotic leak- i doubt it but if it is watery then best to get it checked out. Good luck with it- if you are anything like me, you are eager for all this to be over and to finally meet your little bundle of joy.
