What exactly are the symptoms of yeast infection? I get sticky,thick,white discharge, it doesn’t exactly smell, it smells like normal discharge, and i have had it for awhile. And sometimes it itches, I’ve never really had a burn though. And it’s a lot different then the discharge i get when i get "excited" So please help?

The reason I ask is because I was taking cipro for a UTI for 5 days (this was 3 years ago) and one week after I was done taking the medicine, I developed weird hives on the back of my leg and my infection came back. But after I was done taking the antibiotic, wouldn’t the medicine have already left my body within 48 hours after finishing it?

I know that this is for pregnancy questions but I figured more women look at this part than the others. I asked this question late last night and only got 2 answers so figured I’d do it this afternoon to get more suggestions to compare to but anyways my question. I woke up last night because of severe abdominal pains and a strong urge to urinate. I went to the bathroom and right away after it went away but now through out the whole day and tonight everytime before I get the urge to pee I get the bad cramps again. They do go away though. I just had my period a week ago and my urine (tmi) us a dark yellow and at times has a different smell to it. Anyone ever felt this or know what it could be. I will be going to the doctor monday if it persists. Thanks so much BTW I know I’m not pregnant and this has never happened to me so idk what its from or anything.

I have a horrible sore throat and headache. I went to the doctor yesterday and was given antibiotics. Yesterday I had two doses, and I woke up this morning feeling worse. My throat hurts so bad I have to brace myself to swallow. Is it normal to get worse before I get better? How long until I have relief?

(NOT A FUNNY JOKE AT ALL – Think of "Erin Brokovich" or similar)
I got spiked with something that has made me EXTREMELY sensitive to Gluten/Simple Carbs/Wheat, etc. Basically extreme candida!
I have NEVER ever had problems with diet in my life as I am very health oriented.
The symptoms aren’t going away.

Situation: I recently took Antibiotics few months ago but have taken lots of probiotics, bifidus/adidophilus to offset it as I normally would.
These symptoms existed before the Antibiotics however.
It is so bad, that I’ve completely changed my diet to a Gluten Free diet with Salads and Soups if you’re getting a good idea of my situation.

Environment Situation:
The water in my house/area has been tested to be horrible for drinking and now I only use the water to wash only. I have a serious belief and prognosis the symptoms came from the bad water I’ve been drinking before the analysis.

Is there something that I might have, aside from just the symptoms of bad candida?

I need a little help with finding out how I know my oral yeast infection (Candida) is gone. I’ve been on a VERY strict diet of almost only veggies, a few raw nuts, and some berries, which are permitted on the diet due to their low sugar content. I’ve been on this diet for a week and feel great! However, I’m afraid that once I go back to my regular vegan diet including fruits and grains, that the Candida will come back. Does anyone know how to tell when it’s gone?? My throat is clear, my tongue is almost completely better, but I just don’t know. I’m afraid to risk it.

If anyone has any answers or suggestions I would be extremely appreciative…we have quite a few family functions coming up and I would be miserable if I couldn’t partake in some of the foods.

I’m 10 weeks 5 days and just found out I have bacterial vaginosis. I’ve been given Cleocin it’s the vaginal suppository not the pills. If I get this treated this week what are my chances of a healthy pregnancy??
