i had maybe 5 yeast infection from the time i started my period at 8 till when i was 22 and got prego.thast 5 total not a year. then i got prego at 22 and had 2 yeast infections a month and then after baby was born i get a period have sex or get sick and bam yeast infection. what happened to me?

I’ve been having pains on the top part of my stomach and a headache (but the headache might not have anything to do with it, cause I also get headaches because of my eyes). Anyway, my older sister (who is now 22) had to have her gull bladder removed because of an infection or something like that and my mom thinks that I could have the same problem. I have had a yeast infection for about a week and half now & my mother just started me on Now Food’s Candida Clear pills. I was wondering if that actually works or if I should just go see a doctor? I’ve been taking 875 mg of generic augmentin (an antibiotic) twice a day for 10 days for a throat infection.
Of course, I developed a yeast infection a little over a week from the day I started the prescription.
I was wondering if it would go away by itself once the antibiotic left my system or if I need to get some sort of OTC treatment.
If it will go away on its own, about how long should it last?
Also, are there any good home remedies to treat the itching?
