im 17 and about 1 day and 1/2 ago my vagina got(and still is) really sore and painful to the touch right around the vaginal opening, painful burning during urination and swolen.
i looked up some stuff on it and it said it is likely to happen around your period(which i just got this morning) and is likely to come back. i had the same thing pretty much happen to me about 4 months ago.
i think its happening around the times i have sex.
i lost my virginity 4 months ago and a few days after this happened.
and i had sex with this guy im seeing now for the second time with him about 3-4 days before and i have it. (ive had sex with him once before and it didnt happen)
the first time after about a week it stopped if what im thinking is a yeat infection.
im just wondering if this is what it likely is or if you have any other opinions.anything will help. thanks
I noticed that my vaginal discharge was getting heavier. Then I started scratchin on the outside of my vulva. So I figured I had some type of yeast infection.
Now, I have little scratches or tears from where I have been rubbing. and also my clitoris actually hurts. Like its more like pain instead of sexual gratificaion.

my mom had a mini stroke july of 2006 and now has rectal cancer, she has gone through chemo and radiation, she has had candida yeast most of her life and now has every symptom. We need advice from people who have been through this similar experience and have recovered. she has a temporary colostomy on her upper intestine, she also needs a colon cleanse. Can anyone tell me how you you know you have found a good probiotic product? There are so many out there now. Pearls, capsules, ones needing refrigeration, or no refrigeration.
I would love to ask a doctor about this, but my general doctors don’t know much because it is so new. What kind of doctor would know how to get a good sorce of probiotics?
As for brands I have tried, I tried and liked Culturelle, but it was . I am now using CVS’s brand of Pearl probiotics. They seem ok and are only . I would spend whatever I needed if I could find one I felt assured to be helpful.

I am a female with a yeast infection (I also think its severe or chronic) that’s lasted over a 4 year period, I am currently seventeen. When younger around 14 I’ve acquired the symptoms. I’ve always drank soda and eaten sweets, and at some point, when younger, I never drank water or ate proper foods, EVER. The most I would go is six months with no water, and if i drank water, it was just a swig of it. I’ve recently stumbled upon the Candida Diet, but every site says something different. If some1 could help me I would be greatly appreciated, I prefer some1 who is currently on this diet, but if you know absolutey well of it yourself, I would also appreciate your help. The option of going to a gynecologist is not an option unfortunately, I’ve gone at least 4 times, got the same diagnosis and meds do not help me whatsoever.
